Comparison
inteller.ai vs Jobscan
The keyword scanner everyone knows, against a tool that starts by asking whether the job is real.
Jobscan is the original resume-to-job keyword matcher, and its plan page lists a large toolset around that core: a resume builder, a LinkedIn optimizer, cover-letter and bullet-point generators, and add-on credits for auto-apply and interview practice. inteller.ai does one narrower thing before any of that: it checks the posting itself for ghost-job and scam patterns, then tells you which stated requirements your resume has not demonstrated, quoting the resume line for each one it says you have.
Every Jobscan figure on this page was read from Jobscan’s own pricing page on 4 September 2026.
We describe what Jobscan’s site says it does; we cannot see inside its product and do not claim to. If a price or a feature has changed, tell us and we will correct it.

Where Jobscan is better
- A bigger free tier: 5 scans a month against our 3, plus a free job tracker and resume builder.
- Far more surface area. If you want a resume builder, a LinkedIn optimizer, and templates from one vendor, Jobscan has them and we do not.
- A Chrome extension and a decade of brand recognition. Recruiters and career coaches know the name.
Where inteller.ai is better
- Price: Pro is $19 a month against $49.95 monthly.
- The posting is checked before your resume is. Jobscan's plan page lists no ghost-job or scam detection at all.
- Every 'covered' verdict quotes the resume line that proves it, and an invented quote is demoted automatically. You get a gap list you can act on, not just a percentage.
- We publish what the score cannot tell you. Jobscan does not, and its marketing leans on '1,000,000+ job seekers'.

Who should choose which
Choose Jobscan if
You want a resume builder and a large toolset from a well-known vendor, you apply in volume, and a ghost-job check is not a priority for you.
Choose inteller.ai if
You are selective about where you apply, you want to know whether a posting is worth an evening before you tailor anything, and you want the specific requirements you have not evidenced rather than a keyword count.
What neither product can know
Neither Jobscan nor inteller.ai can see inside an employer’s applicant tracking system, verify that a company intends to fill a role, or predict whether you will get an interview. A match percentage from either of us is a model of the posting’s text. We list our own limits in full on the methodology page.
Questions people ask
Is inteller.ai a cheaper Jobscan?
Only partly. Both score a resume against a job. Jobscan is built around that score plus a resume builder and auto-apply credits. inteller.ai is built around a fraud check on the posting first and a cited requirement-gap list second. If you want the builder, Jobscan is the better buy; if you want the check and the gap list, we are.
Does Jobscan detect ghost jobs?
Not according to its plan page as of September 2026, which lists resume scans, ATS findings, a job tracker, builders, and auto-apply credits. If that changes we will update this page.
Can either tool tell me my real ATS score?
Neither product can see inside an employer's applicant tracking system, verify that a company intends to hire, or predict whether you will get an interview. Any match percentage from either of us is a model of the posting's text, not a measurement of a real ATS.
Test it on a posting you already have an opinion about
The ghost-job checker needs no account. Paste a posting and see the patterns, each with the phrase that fired it.
