About
We help job seekers apply smarter — starting with whether the job is even real.
inteller.ai is an AI career advisor, not another resume builder. Most tools help you optimize for jobs. We start one step earlier: telling you which postings are fake, ghosted, or a waste of your time — then helping you win the ones that count.
Who we are
inteller.ai is built by SKC Digital, Inc., a US company. We started inteller.ai after watching capable people pour hours into applications for jobs that were never going to hire anyone — ghost listings, recycled reposts, and outright scams. Research suggests roughly 43% of job postings may be ghost jobs, and the FTC reports consumers lose hundreds of millions of dollars a year to job scams. That's the problem we set out to fix.
The product works in four layers:
Protect
We read every job description twice — the second time by a reader that ignores tone entirely — so you know what a posting actually asks of you before you spend 45 minutes applying.
Assess
We check the posting's requirements one by one against your resume — covered, partial, or missing — and quote the line that proves each covered one. The gap list is the useful output; the match score just sorts it.
Optimize
AI tailoring that mirrors a job's real language without keyword-stuffing — and preserves your own voice instead of turning your resume into corporate mush.
Track
An application tracker that shows which approaches actually lead to interviews, so you can do more of what works.
The inteller.ai Research Team
Articles on our blog are published by the inteller.ai Research Team — the people who build and study the fraud-detection engine itself. That byline isn't a faceless label: it means the piece is grounded in the same data and patterns our product uses to score real job postings every day, and that a human reviewed and edited it before it went live.
Our flagship data reports and tool comparisons carry an additional named reviewer who stands behind the analysis. If you ever want to question a number or a claim we've made, email us — we'll point you to the source.
How we detect fraud and ghost jobs
Every job description you paste into inteller.ai runs through two layers:
Layer 1 — Instant pattern analysis
A model reads the posting, a second independent reader asks only what it makes you do, and deterministic checks guard both: requests for money or personal documents up front, off-platform contact, missing salary ranges, evergreen reposting language, vague responsibilities, unrealistic requirements, and more. No AI guesswork — these are rules built from real scam and ghost patterns.
Layer 2 — AI advisor
On top of the rules, an AI advisor reads the posting in context to assess role fit, surface skill gaps, and answer the real question: is this worth your time? It's designed to give you an honest answer, not to push you toward applying.
Our ATS scoring uses a database of 200+ skills with weighted categories, skill aliases, and semantic matching — and it always scores your resume against a specific job, because a generic score tells you nothing useful. We’d also rather you didn’t over-trust the number: no tool, ours included, can predict whether you’ll get an interview. The part worth acting on is the list of requirements you haven’t evidenced. Our methodology page sets out how every figure is computed and what we cannot know.
Our editorial standards
- Every statistic is attributed to a named source (Resume Builder, ZipRecruiter, Clarify Capital, the FTC, FBI IC3, and others). When we don't have a solid number, we say so rather than inventing one.
- Every article is AI-assisted in drafting but reviewed and edited by a human before it publishes.
- We tell you when a job is NOT worth applying to. We're an advisor, not a funnel — no dark patterns, no fake urgency, no invented testimonials or 'popular' badges.
- We update articles as the data changes and show the date. We don't backdate posts to fake a longer history.
- We compare ourselves to other tools honestly — including where they're stronger than us.
