Privacy Policy

inteller.ai is operated by SKC Digital, Inc., a company incorporated in the United States. We are the data controller for your personal information. You can reach us at contact@skc.digital.

• Account information — email address, name, and authentication provider (Google, LinkedIn, or email/password).
• Resume text — the content you upload or paste for analysis.
• Job description text — what you paste in for scanning.
• Application data — companies, roles, statuses, and notes you add to the tracker (Premium tier).
• Usage data — which features you use, scan counts, subscription tier, and analytics events (via Google Analytics 4). This data is anonymized and not used to track you across other sites.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
• Support messages — content you submit through our support system.
• Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, and device type are collected automatically for security and analytics. IP addresses are not stored long-term.

Your data is used for one thing: helping you apply smarter.

• Resume and JD text are analyzed to generate scores, fit assessments, and tailoring suggestions.
• We send resume and JD text to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) for analysis. Anthropic does not use this data for training per their data policy.
• Payment data is processed by Stripe to manage your subscription.
• We send transactional emails (welcome, subscription confirmation, support replies) via Resend.
• Error monitoring via Sentry helps us detect and fix bugs. Sentry receives error context but never your resume content, JD text, or personal data.
• We never share your data with employers, recruiters, or data brokers.
• We never use your resume to apply to jobs on your behalf.

We process your data under the following legal bases (relevant for GDPR):

• Contract — processing your resumes and job descriptions is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest — analytics, error monitoring, and fraud detection help us improve the product and keep it secure.
• Consent — marketing emails (if any) are sent only with your opt-in consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We use the following services to operate inteller.ai. Each processes limited data as described:

• Supabase (database + authentication) — stores your account, resumes, scans, and application data. SOC 2 Type II compliant. Data encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — receives resume and JD text for analysis. Does not use your data for model training.
• Stripe (payments) — processes your payment information. We never see your card number. Stripe privacy policy.
• Resend (email) — sends transactional emails on our behalf. Receives your email address and name only.
• Google Analytics 4 (analytics) — tracks anonymized usage patterns. See the Analytics section below.
• Sentry (error monitoring) — captures application errors. Receives technical context only, never personal content.
• Google Cloud Platform (hosting) — our servers run on GCP Cloud Run in the United States.

• Your data is stored in Supabase (SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure) hosted in the United States.
• All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
• Database access is protected by Row Level Security — only you can access your data through the application.
• Our application servers run on Google Cloud Platform in the United States.

If you are located outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States where our servers and service providers are located. By using inteller.ai, you consent to this transfer. We ensure all third-party providers maintain adequate data protection standards.

• Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
• You can delete your resumes and scan history anytime from your settings page.
• You can export all your data (profile, resumes, scans, applications) as JSON from Settings > Privacy & Data.
• If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
• We don't keep shadow copies of deleted data beyond standard database backup windows (up to 7 days).
• Stripe retains payment records as required by financial regulations, independent of your inteller.ai account.

• We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use inteller.ai — page views, feature usage, and conversion events.
• GA4 uses first-party cookies. We do not use retargeting pixels or share analytics data with advertisers.
• We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session) and consent tracking. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
• Google's data processing is governed by their privacy policy.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the GA opt-out browser extension.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you. Use the Export feature in Settings, or email us.
• Correction — update your name or other profile information in Settings.
• Deletion — delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Privacy & Data.
• Portability — export your data in JSON format from Settings.
• Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data while a dispute is resolved.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest by contacting us.
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

For CCPA (California residents): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email contact@skc.digital.

For GDPR (EU/EEA/UK residents): You have all the rights listed above. If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We respond to all data rights requests within 30 days.

inteller.ai is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 16, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, and will notify relevant data protection authorities as required by law.

• Sell your data. Not now, not ever. Our business model is subscriptions, not data brokering.
• Share your resume with employers or recruiters. Your job search is private.
• Use your data for AI training. Your content is not used to train any models — neither ours nor our providers'.
• Track you across the web. We use analytics to improve inteller.ai, not to follow you around the internet. No retargeting pixels.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. The "last updated" date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent revision.
